Two SMPA Students Receive Manheim-Sterling Undergraduate Research Prize

Bailey Mohr and Zinhle Essamuah were recently awarded the school's Manheim-Sterling Undergraduate Research Prizes.

Named in honor of two SMPA faculty members, the Manheim-Sterling Prizes support outstanding mentored undergraduate research and creative activity in the School of Media and Public Affairs. 

Mohr is researching how candidates and organizations use Twitter to communicate with the public, while Essamuah is creating a documentary to investigate the #BlackLivesMatter Twitter movement and what it means for black millennials.
