I am a GW alum (CSAS ‘01) with a B.A. in Political Science and German Language and Literature. During my senior year at GW I was awarded an International Parliamentary Scholarship (Internationales Parlaments-Stipendium) by the German Federal Parliament, which took me to Berlin in the year following my graduation and introduced me to the political landscapes of Germany and Europe. I have been engaged in the transatlantic space ever since. I have worked at the German Embassy in Washington, the European Parliament in Brussels, and at the North American office of a German non-profit, where I developed ways to introduce Americans to the policy approaches that accelerated the growth of renewable energy in Europe. Currently, I am also working at GW CIBER to develop curriculum ideas and teaching materials about the success of renewable energy in Germany.

I am also excited to be a part of the CUFR team and to advise GW students on the many fellowship and research opportunities that are available to enhance their academic careers and broaden their international experience.
