Research Day 2017 Was a Success

April 05, 2017

GW's annual Research Day 1, held on Tuesday, April 4th, was another resounding success, with over 200 undergraduate and graduate students presenting their research. Research disciplines ranged from Education, Mathematics, Engineering, Health Sciences, and many more.

The event filled both ballrooms of the Marvin Center and drew large crowds from the GW community. Teams of faculty judges evaluated each student's research and awarded cash prizes in different categories.

CUFR would like to thank the wonderful and hard-working students, faculty, mentors, and judges for making the day such a positive one!

The 1st and 2nd prize winners for each academic category are listed on the Research Days Website. In addition, special categories included the Nashman Prize, Diversity and Inclusion Prize, Global Women's Institute Prize, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Prize, and Sustainability Prize. Congratulations to all the presentors for a job well done!
