GW Students Write for Mount Vernon's Digital Encyclopedia

In a recent issue of Common-Place, an online journal on early American history, Adam Shprintzen describes how students in Denver Brunsman's course, "George Washington and His World" are contributing to Mount Vernon's digital encyclopedia.

GW students continue to contribute to the online encyclopedia.  Read published entries by Robin Pokorski on George Washington's Library, Chelsea Lenhart on Hercules, a member of Mount Vernon's enslaved community known for his culinary skills, and Sarah Pierson on Oney Judge, a personal servant of Martha Washington.

Adam Shprintzen serves as the Digital and Archival Historian at George Washington's Mount Vernon.  Denver Brunsman is Assistant Professor of History at The George Washington University.
