The GLOBE is Now Accepting Submissions!

Any GW undergraduate student is invited to submit a research paper to The GLOBE, an undergraduate academic journal sponsored by the Elliott School of International Affairs and the International Affairs Society.  The journal publicizes a wide array of articles addressing topics that have an international focus, and all undergraduates (CCAS, SMPA, ESIA, Business, etc.) are encouraged to submit academic papers relating to international affairs topics between 3-15 pages, double-spaced (excerpts of longer papers are also accepted).

The Globe is produced biannually, in the fall and spring semesters.  The upcoming priority review deadline for the spring 2014 issue is Monday, February 17th at 11:59 pm.  The next deadlines are Friday March 7th and lastly Friday March 29th.  Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.

The Globe is also looking for guest bloggers to write posts commenting about current international affairs issues for the website. Posts should be about 700 words. Schedule and topic are flexible. If you are interested in writing, either as guest blogger or as a regular blogger, please contact Allyson Brown at [email protected] .  To receive more information, see past issues of the Globe and the blog or to further inquire please visit The GLOBE.
