A junior majoring in international affairs at GW, Sarala Dickworth has recently been featured in GW Today!  A recipient of a GW Undergraduate Research Award, Sarala spent last summer in Myanmar interning with UNICEF.  While doing so, she investigated gender-based risk assessments of children experiencing conflict or natural disasters.  Sarala hopes that her research will improve climate and conflict-based programming for at-risk youth in the region.

Sarala has been working on this project under Christina Fink, Professor of Practice of International Affairs in the Elliott School.
